I invite you

I invite you to ........ talk about yourself? If you take up the invitation what would you talk about? What gives you your unique identity? Your family, career, holidays you've taken and places you've visited? What about your hobbies? Your interests? I'm sure you could easily add to the list. Then let's imagine I interject at this point and say:

I invite you to talk about you.

Yourself. Not those things external to you (the career, the family, etc) but you. That's who I'm interested in. The You with all it's achievements and hardships, joys and sorrows. The You that's important to me and hopefully will be important to you. That's a good place to begin . . . with You.
