Welcome
Many individuals struggle with personal traumas which can prevent them from leading more enriched, untroubled and stress-free lives. We can fall into the trap of comparing what we're going through with others and often believe that everyone else is happier, more successful and popular than we'll ever be. That need not be the case.
As a qualified, *COSCA affiliated person-centred therapist, as well as a registered member of the *BACP I’ve worked with clients who have broken through these debilitating barriers enabling them to become more secure and grounded individuals. I offer a professional, confidential service, supporting prospective clients as they seek to achieve a more positive outlook on life, as well as equipping them with the tools necessary for reaching their goals.
OUTDOOR THERAPY
I am conscious that the counselling room doesn't appeal to everyone. I am happy to spend an hour — or up to an an hour — walking, listening and interacting with you. This is sometimes known as outdoor behavioural healthcare or wilderness therapy. However I do not envisage heading into the mountains but rather a gentle stroll round Cooper Park in Elgin or one of the coastal paths in Buckie. This could either supplement the face to face therapy, or stand alone possibly acting as an introduction to counselling especially following our first session. This service would cost £50
